All media applications for the WRC FORUM8 Rally Japan 2023 are now closed.

From Friday 3 November onwards, each applicant will be informed of the result of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) or the WRC promoter’s review of their application. Those who have been approved for the issuance of a credential (media pass) will be required to follow a separate procedure for receiving it. Please watch out for the result notification email.

If you need to enter Japan to cover the rally, please refer to the information in the media section of the English language pages of this website or information from the government.

  • The "Media" section of this website is an information page for members of the press. Media registration is required for access.
  • We do not accept media applications other than from members of the press. Please note that personal SNS sites and BLOGs are not acceptable for media registration.
  • Due to the fact that rally competitions can occasionally be dangerous for inexperienced persons, media tabards for shooting in the special stages are not always provided for all the photographers, even if you are a member of the press. In these instances, please ask an experienced photographer to take photos, or use images from the official library provided by the Rally Japan Media Office.
