Applications for domestic media accreditation for the World Rally Championship FORUM8 Rally Japan 2024 have now closed.

International media (news agencies, etc.) should apply to the FIA (https://wrc.ams.fia.com/login) . For TV and video coverage and promotional purposes, please apply to the WRC Promoter. For enquiries, please contact the WRC Promoter application desk at accreditation@wrc.com. The deadline for both is 17:00 on Wednesday 6 November.

Those who have submitted an application will be notified of the results of the application screening in early November. Those who have been approved for a pass will need to go through a separate procedure to receive it. Please be careful to check for the arrival of the result notification email.

If you need to enter Japan to cover the event, please check the information in the media section of the English page of this website or on the government website.

  • The "Media" section of this website is an information page for members of the press. Media registration is required for access.
  • We do not accept media applications other than from members of the press. Please note that personal SNS sites and BLOGs are not acceptable for media registration.
  • Due to the fact that rally competitions can occasionally be dangerous for inexperienced persons, media tabards for shooting in the special stages are not always provided for all the photographers, even if you are a member of the press. In these instances, please ask an experienced photographer to take photos, or use images from the official library provided by the Rally Japan Media Office.
