Sébastien OGIER wins the stage by three seconds over Elfyn EVANS with Takamoto KATSUTA and Sami PAJARI 3.2s back in third. Evans 2.4s behind Katsuta in the battle for second. Ogier extends lead to 8.1s over Katsuta

“I wasn’t so comfortable with the car there in the beginning, it was quite tail happy. After it wasn’t so bad but it does feel efficient enough at the moment. Taka has been very fast here in the past so it is not a surprise.”

“It is ok. I always feel more comfortable to push on second pass. So far so good. Clearly Taka has been winning g many stages here before and we know he can fight for the win. It is nice to fight with him.”

“It was ok. On the high speed part we have to use some settings that are not really optimal for the driving. It didn’t really feel so good on the high speed. Overall no risk and I tried to get back on the pace, but it is not so easy in this condition. I’m not good in maths so I don’t know [when asked if he has calculated what is possible for his recovery drive]

“Not good. This is what I was a bit worried about with lower trip there is no grip. It is strange but it was not good. We need to finish the day for sure.”

“I really tried my best. I was struggling on the downhill section. It is already better than this morning. We have gone in the right direction so we have improved. I just want to stay in contact with Sami and the others just in case something happens.”

“It was not so different compared to the morning in terms of cutting there is a bit more pollution but in general there is better grip toward the end. I tried to maximise. It was not perfect but pretty good.”
Grégoire MUNSTER
“Not really feeling any improvement. I tried to give it a proper go in this one because there were fewer corners but the time is still not there. It is just the understeer it doesn’t turn. It is frustrating as I know everyone is trying but it is not paying off.”
