Elfyn EVANS claims a 200th WRC stage win, 0.6s faster than Sébastien OGIER. Ogier’s lead cut to 1.4s. Takamoto KATSUTA hit a water filled plastic barrier at a chicane which damaged the right front and lost power steering. Drops from third to seventh. Adrien FOURMAUX moves two third. Kalle ROVANPERÄ moves up to ninth.

“There was a big confusion at the start of the stage Taka hit something and there were things everywhere so I’m quite sure I lost a bit of time there, but that is the way it is.”

“I took it easy as it is so hard for the tyres and the brakes. I wanted to keep my brakes and I had some used tyres in the stage. The whole chicane in the stages was gone and that was where I lost a bit of time, maybe someone found a shortcut. I drove through the whole thing really slowly.”
