Outline of spectator ticket sales

Notification of decision. -Pre-sales (lottery) start on Wednesday 17 July! –

The FIA World Rally Championship FORUM8 Rally Japan 2024, which will be held from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 November 2024, has announced the outline of its spectator ticket sales.

Tickets for this year’s event will go on general sale from Saturday 24 August. Prior to the general sale, advance sales (by lottery) will be available from 17 July (Wed), and for residents of the host city/town (Toyota City, Okazaki City, Shinshiro City, Shitara Town in Aichi Prefecture, Ena City and Nakatsugawa City in Gifu Prefecture), applications for the Toyota Stadium SSS and the viewing area in their city/town will only be available from 17 August (Sat). The application period will start on 17 August (Sat).

In addition, from this year, a Free Children’s Invitation Campaign will be offered to children aged three to junior high school, and tickets for participation in the Toyota Stadium Course Walk will be on sale.

◆Ticket and other sales types/sales schedule

The event will feature one to five spectator areas on each of the Shakedown stage and ten Special Stages (21 in total), with tickets, etc. available for spectators to watch each of these areas.

To watch the rally, you need to either purchase a ‘spectator ticket’, apply for a ‘hospitality programme’ or ‘accommodation plan’, or get a spectator ticket as a return gift from your furusato nozei ‘hometown tax’.

 Ticket sales schedule

1) Advance sales <drawing lots>.       Application period: 17 Jul (Wed) 11:00 – 12 Aug (Mon) *Notification of lottery results: 16 Aug (Fri)

(2) Pre-sales in the host city/town <Lottery draw> Application period: 17 Aug (Sat) 11:00 – 20 Aug (Tue) *Notification of lottery results: 23 Aug (Fri).

(3) General sales <first arrival>           24 Aug (Sat) 10:00 –

  *The pre-sale (lottery) for the host city/town is for residents of Toyota City, Okazaki City, Shinshiro City and Shitara Town in Aichi Prefecture, and Ena City and Nakatsugawa City in Gifu Prefecture. Buyers can only apply for spectator areas in their city or town of residence.

  *Toyota Stadium SSS Category 5 spectator tickets and Course Walk participation tickets will go on sale from 10:00 on Saturday 24 August.

  *Overseas ticket sales start at 10:00 (Japan time) on 24 August (Sat) for Toyota Stadium SSS and Okazaki SSS only.

Special offer for Toyota Stadium SSS Category 1 ticket holders

(i) Track walk.

Admission is available 15 minutes prior to general admission.

Please present your duplicate ticket at the ‘Privilege Exchange Point (Category 1 only)’ at the venue to collect it.

4) Official merchandise (‘Cheering uniform’ + ‘Blanket <not for sale>’)

Please present your duplicate ticket at the ‘Privilege Exchange Point’ at the venue to collect your ticket.

(5) Invitation to the “Driver Welcome Event” by drawing lots.

200 people will be invited by lottery to a welcome event in Tokyo on 15 November (Fri), attended by the competing drivers.
