Number of applicants for the Asahi Kogen SS “limited advance host area lottery” exceeds the allotment by more than 10 times
The Rally Japan 2023 Commission (Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture) will begin “Official Advance Ticket Lottery” sales on July 14 for the “Forum 8 Rally Japan 2023,” the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) to be held in November this year. This is the first time that the general public will have the opportunity to purchase tickets.
In addition, many applications were received from residents of the six host cities and towns (Toyota City, Okazaki City, Shinshiro City, Shitara Town, Ena City and Nakatsugawa City in Gifu Prefecture) for the “limited host area advance lottery sales” carried out prior to the “official advance lottery sales”. The number of applicants for the Asahi Kogen SS exceeded 10 times the number of tickets available, while those for the Mikawa-ko SS and Isejin SS, which were popular among fans last year, greatly exceeded the number of tickets made available.
