Entertainment plans (2nd) for Toyota Stadium to be announced at event held just before rally!

The Rally Japan 2023 Commission has announced various entertainment plans for Toyota Stadium (phase 2), including a Super SS with two rally cars running simultaneously and stage events, to be held just before the Forum8 Rally Japan 2023, the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC)

FORUM8 Rally Japan Special Demo Run
A FORUM8 Rally Japan Special Demo Run will be held at the Toyota Stadium SSS course, featuring some of the world’s most prestigious drivers and their famous cars.

Date and time: 17 (Fri) and 18 (Sat) Nov, scheduled for 17:00-18:00 each day.
Contents:
1) Demonstration runs by various classic and new rally cars.
Vehicles:
Toyota Celica GT-Four, LANCER EVOLUTION III Gr.A, TRITON Rally Car (2022)
LAND CRUISER 300 GR SPORT DAKAR RALLY 2024 SPECIFICATION and others

2) Kart demonstration by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing drivers
Drivers: Kamui Kobayashi, Ryo Hirakawa, Kazuki Nakajima, Masahiro Sasaki, Hiroaki Ishiura, Kazuya Oshima and others
Location: special course in Toyota Stadium area

・ FORUM8 Rally Japan Museum
As you enter through the main gate, you will be greeted by vehicles specially collected for Rally Japan, including the Toyota Celica from the 1990s and other famous cars (actual cars) from the WRC! In addition to these, there will be around 10 other vehicles that embody a rally museum, with the co-operation of various car manufacturers, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the museum-like atmosphere.

Talk show by SKE48’s Yuka Asai and Natsuki Kamata, ‘LOVE Aichi Supporters: Aichi PR Ambassadors’. PR for sightseeing in Aichi.

Toyota Athlete Collaboration Talk Show

Top drivers and sports athletes from the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) will take to the stage to enjoy a talk show featuring athletes from different genres that you would not normally hear about.

RALLY JAPAN GIRLS 2023                                                                                             .

The image girls for FORUM8 Rally Japan 2023, the RALLY JAPAN GIRLS 2023, will be unveiled for the first time. They will be on the outdoor stage at the West Event Square to promote the appeal of the rally and Rally Japan, and provide support for the programme that will be held inside Toyota Stadium.

Opening ceremony
The opening ceremony marks the start of the four-day battle, with a full line-up of 35 rally cars from all classes from WRC1 to all classes lined up on the Toyota Stadium SSS course, surrounded by sound and light, to kick off Rally Japan.

Ceremonial finish
The ceremonial finish marks the end of Rally Japan, the final round of the World Rally Championship. In addition to interviews with the winners of each class and the presentation of trophies, a champagne fight will be held with Houraisen Sparkling Platinum (not for sale), a sake produced by Sekiya Brewery, which has been brewing sake since 1864 in Shitara, Aichi Prefecture.

Limited sale of official merchandise

In addition to a number of official goods, the Rally Japan Official Shop will also sell Toyota Stadium exclusive goods. The limited edition items on sale include the Takamoto Katsuta model car, which sold out last year, and the Rally Manhole Cover, which proved popular last year as one of the contents to enjoy during Rally Japan. All these items are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and sales will end as soon as they are sold out.
