From 1986, he began competing in the Paris-Dakar Rally , and in 1997 he became the first Japanese driver to win the overall championship. In the WRC, he won the Ivory Coast Rally (Cote d&#8217;Ivoire) in 1991 and 1992 with the Galant VR-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>He showed his vitality by acting as a driver in the demonstration run at Rally Japan 2023 last year, but he passed away on Thursday, 18th March 2024 at the age of 75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In this corner, there is a board summarising the achievements of Kenjiro Shinozuka.
