16th July, the Rally Japan Management Office has prepared the running schedule (itinerary) and running map of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) Rally Japan scheduled to be held in November. “Rally Guide 1” has been announced. Please refer to the link below.
Starting from the “Ceremonial start” that will be held on 19th November (Thursday) in Nagoya City (Aichi Prefecture) the itinerary will be spread across 3 days starting from the 20th (Friday). Aichi Prefecture’s SS are set in the Isegami tunnel, Inabu Dam, Shitara Town, Nukata Forest, Lake Mikawa, Shinshio City and Okazaki Central Park. Gifu Prefecture’s SS are set in Ena City and Nenoue Plateau. The main functions such as service park will be at the Aichi Expo Memorial Park. It’s located in Nagakute City (Aichi Prefecture) commonly known as Morikoro Park. There is also a special stage inside the Morikoro Park.
There are a total of 19 competition stages called SS, the distance mileage is about 300 km. The total mileage distance including the liaisons (connecting the SS) and the SS sections is about 1000 km across 3 days until 22nd (Sunday). Please note contents are subject to change.
The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) announced the revised schedule of the suspended 2020 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) on 2nd July. Rally Japan will be held in November 2020 as well as the final round of the WRC series.
