On April 15th, Rally Japan announced the competitor’s overview for the final round of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship. Rally Japan will start its competition on November 20th and will last 3 days until November 22nd over 19 Special Stages (tarmac). The total distance of SS is planned about 310km, and the total length including liaison (untimed sections in between the SS) is 1360km.
Rally cars, service parks and rally headquarters will be setup at “Aichi Expo Memorial Park (Morikoro Park)” in Nagkute, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. A total of 3 spectator stages are planned over Saturday and Sunday at Morikoro Park, as well as 2 spectator stages on Saturday at Okazaki Central Park.
With the global outbreak of the COVID-19, many sports events are being canceled or postponed. However, we are determined to put in all efforts to hold Rally Japan in November as planned.
